Automatic Purge of old email from Trash and Junk folders

Dear Members,

On Monday 15th July we will start purging emails from the Junk and Trash folders of all member accounts, once over 180 days old.

This process will keep the size of member accounts down and help increase the speed of webmail access by removing unwanted email.

[Clarification 4th July @ 10:30]

This policy is intended to only affect users who are already over quota, the auto delete is intended to clear very old Trash emails to get your account back under quota.

[Update 15th July - Going Live in Passive Mode]

We have taken the decision that for the first few weeks we are going to run this system in a mode which reports to us delete actions that would be taken but will not actually remove email. After this testing stage we will move to an Active mode where delete actions will be taken.

Re-connecting

Concordia Alumni Connect is a great place to reconnect with fellow alumni, gain industry knowledge and share career expertise and opportunities with each other and the next generation of Concordia Alumni.

Professional Network

Trying to get back in touch with old classmates? Or to find alumni in your area or field of work? Find the connections you need to further your career or business.

Concordia Map

This map helps you see where in the country, or indeed the world, other Concordia alumni are based.

This could be useful if you are visiting an area for a holiday, on business, or completely relocating to a new place and keen to connect with others who share your experiences of Concordia!

eMentoring Platform

The eMentoring platform is designed to help alumni and graduating students connect so that alumni can advise and give guidance to Concordia alumni embarking on their chosen careers. This could be anything from a few emails or checking a CV/application, to meeting face to face or even offering work experience.

The idea is that alumni can donate as much or as little of their time as they can spare to helping those in need of a helping hand at the beginning of their careers.
